Artist Studio

A gallery embracing a garden creates a studio space that captures the variations in light throughout the day and according to the rhythm of the seasons, themes intrinsically linked to the artist’s work. It is situated in the farthest corner of the existing villa, at the edge of the plot, comfortably close to the artist’s habitat while being sufficiently distant to surround itself with the vibrant greenery of this garden suburb. The specificity of its silhouette echoes the picturesque roofs that emerge between the crowns of the trees. Its curved volume recalls the garden galleries adjacent to suburban villas, defining a spatial promenade in connection with the outside world, extending from the main house to the artist’s studio. In contrast with the existing villa, the wooden façade, tinted a dark green, blends into the surrounding vegetation. Together, they create a space where windows emerge, facing the plot boundaries. Beyond the views, they capture the variations of light, reflections, and colors through the site’s lush nature.
